The 300m Eureka Tower at Southbank is Melbourne's tallest building and the world's tallest apartment building.Billed as a vertical city, the slim-line, sculptural tower has been designed by Melbourne architects Nonda Katsalidis and Karl Fender, from Fender Katsalidis, and is being built by Grocon, the construction arm of Melbourne developer Grollo.
The tower will have 92 storeys and 560 apartments reaching 300 metres. The summit will have public access.
The tower is beside the Yarra River and next to the Southgate shopping and dining complex.
