豬哥亮與媒體效應

前陣子豬哥亮的新聞炒得沸沸揚揚，讓原本希望低調的他身感困擾，也讓他陷入了個人潛在的性命危機。

對於媒體緊追不捨的報導，豬哥亮真的希望嗎? 或只是媒體純粹的想八卦而讓自己從中得到利益。從炒了一陣子新聞之後，希望能低調過生活的豬哥亮又消失無蹤的態勢看來，豬哥亮並沒有因為這些報導而得到工作的機會，更別說是籌錢還債了。這也讓口口聲聲說能夠幫助豬哥亮的各家媒體，無疑是打了一個耳光。

台灣人真的需要這樣的媒體嗎? 台灣這丁點大的小島，真的需要有將近十個新聞台嗎? 或是台灣人都得了新聞症候群，每天二十四小時的新聞播放，以及每天吵吵鬧鬧的政論性節目。

只想說: 夠了! 真的夠了!

也許台灣仍舊不適合民主自由，又或許台灣人並不配擁有民主自由；相較於其他先進國家的人民。

New Prime Minister of Australia

很難想像澳洲的大選會是如此的民主，才剛選完而執政黨輸了大選。政府官方的網頁馬上更新，可見得執政者的氣度有多大。

An election for the House of Representatives was held on 24 November 2007 at which the Coalition Government led by the Prime Minister, the Hon John Howard MP, was defeated.

A new Government led by the Leader of the Australian Labor Party, Mr Kevin Rudd MP, is expected to be sworn in by the Governor-General in the near future. In the interim media content is available on Mr Rudd's website. Any comments or messages to Mr Rudd can also be made via Mr Rudd's website.

Talking about Irwin Memorial: Bindi's tribute to her dad

My Daddy was my hero-he was always there for me when I needed him. He listened to me and taught me so many things, but most of all he was fun.

I know that Daddy had an important job. He was working to change the world so everyone would love wildlife like he did. He built a hospital to help animals and he bought lots of land to give animals a safe place to live.

He took me and my brother and my Mum with him all the time. We filmed together, caught crocodiles together and loved being in the bush together.

I don't want Daddy's passion to ever end. I want to help endangered wildlife just like he did.

I have the best Daddy in the whole world and I will miss him every day. When I see a crocodile I will always think of him and I know that Daddy made this zoo so everyone could come and learn to love all the animals. Daddy made this place his whole life and now it's our turn to help Daddy.
